I've never before been so disappointed in the human population. This past week when a friend and I arrived on campus, a faculty member insulted my friend. We had parked in the handicapped section behind Briggs and were pulling out my friend's sticker to place in the window when a faculty member parked next to us. (2) comments

I hate going to class. Now, that's not to say that I don't like my professors or what they're teaching. It's the physical act of getting up and going to class that bothers me. I'm an English major, so almost all my classes are in Briggs. And I can't stand it. (0) comments

Before starting classes here at the University of Detroit Mercy, I'm sure many of you said something to your parents along the lines of "Don't worry, I'm going to be fine. This school is perfectly safe." But, in light of recent events, one has to pose the question: How safe are students really? Before you read any more of this article, I would like you to know that my goal is not to scare you or intimidate you, but to enlighten you. (0) comments

Detroit's over-population of stray dogs and cats has been a problem for residents for years. The inability to restrain, locate and properly place animals in good homes has been a serious and devastating concern. Packs of wild dogs roam the streets looking for food, water and shelter. (0) comments
